£70,000 to £85,000 plus bonus and benefits

As the Senior Media Relations Manager you will work as part of a small group communications team to develop and deliver a strategic media communications plan, raising the profile of the business among key stakeholders including tier one UK media, international business press and strategically important trade titles. Working with stakeholders across the business as well as external suppliers, you will identify, shape and tell their story, covering a wide range of topics from innovation and sustainability to the case for investing in the business – a FTSE 100 company – and their credentials as an employer of choice. You will develop content for a wide range of channels beyond traditional media releases including social and digital media.
You’ll need an eye for a great story and the ability to write clearly and concisely for a broad range of audiences and across different mediums. The ability to build strong professional networks across an international organisation and credibility influencing CEOs and other senior stakeholders is essential. Financial communications along with crisis and issues management experience would be helpful.
