We’re a boutique consultancy who specialise in finding the best senior talent in the corporate affairs market. Good corporate affairs sits at the intersection of business and politics. It’s about shaping and managing corporate reputations, securing regulatory and moral ‘licence’ to operate and bringing stakeholders on a journey, from customers and NGOs to investors and politicians. If you like reading the business pages and follow current affairs, you’ll struggle to find a more engaging sector to work in.
We focus on working as trusted advisors to committed clients from the big tech brands to some of Britain’s most loved household names, helping them shape highly effective recruitment processes that enable us to deliver shortlists full of great candidates. Our mission is to be the go-to recruiter for in-house corporate affairs roles and we believe in putting the interests of our clients and candidates first, being positive and professional in everything we do, and creating a great place to work for our people. We are a small yet diverse team with a grown-up approach to delivering the best work we can.
As a Recruitment Consultant you will be responsible for project managing recruitment mandates for our clients. This involves capturing a great brief (the key to a successful search), running a thorough search to create a diverse and robust shortlist of candidates, managing the selection process and brokering job offers. You’ll need to represent the clients’ brand professionally, manage lots of peoples’ expectations and overcome challenges (if it was easy, recruitment wouldn’t be a £30bn+ industry in the UK).
To be successful you’ll need to be inquisitive with the ability to ask searching questions and really listen to the answers. This is how we make sure we are really clear on what our customers are looking for (clients and candidates). You’ll need to be a confident communicator, a quick study and a good problem solver. Experience in executive search, recruitment and/or corporate affairs would be helpful, a willingness to learn and enthusiasm for the job are essential.
