Organisation

A pioneering financial institution embarking on significant transformation to take advantage of the changing retirement and investment landscape.

Role

As the Chief Operating Officer or COO for the Communications function, your responsibilities will include:

  • Project managing the annual report process from start to finish and overseeing other key reports e.g. sustainability, ESG
  • Digital communications, including responsibility for the Plc website and corporate social media channels
  • Events, overseeing the delivery of key events including the AGM, leadership conference and Davos attendance
  • Budget management and brand governance

The role manages a small team and reports to the Director of Communications.

Candidate

This is a critical role for the organisation and as such requires someone who has done a similar role for a UK Plc before.  In particular, in-depth knowledge of the communications requirements of a UK listed business, from RNS announcements to the reporting cycle, is essential.  You will also need to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, first class project management skills and the ability to influence others effectively.  Financial services experience is not essential.
