After two-and-a-half great years, I will be moving on from Birchwood Knight next week to pursue a career in teaching. With a wife, mother, father, mother-in-law and more relatives who teach, it was perhaps inevitable. Either way, I’m really looking forward to it and taking on a new challenge.
If you too like a challenge, then maybe you should consider applying for the second best job in the world(!), as a Researcher at Birchwood Knight.
We – it’s going to take a while to stop saying we – are a small business, made up of friendly people, with a great culture and some really interesting clients.
As a Researcher, you’ll support the team as they search for the most talented corporate affairs professionals out there, and help a wide range of organisations recruit the people who protect and promote their reputation with everyone from politicians and regulators, to the press and customers. You will also play a strategically important role analysing business-critical data and using that information to influence key business decisions.
And as a small business there are always plenty of opportunities to take on new responsibilities – I launched our pro bono offering last year – and learn new things – I got to visit the UK’s largest power station in my first few months, and recently spent some time with an exciting new tech start-up.
So, if you’re intellectually curious, have a keen interest in the worlds of business and politics, and relish the sense of achievement gained through hard work, you could be a great fit for Birchwood Knight. You can read more about becoming a Researcher at Birchwood Knight here, or call Lauren or Wayne for an informal chat.
