Japanese financial holding company Nomura Group hires Old Mutual Wealth's Daniel Hunter as EMEA corporate comms head

Daniel Hunter has joined Japanese financial services company Nomura to oversee its comms in the EMEA region.

Reporting into Jonathan Lewis, EMEA CEO, and Hajime Ikeda, global head of corporate communications, Hunter will take responsibility for community affairs, branding and marketing and events for Nomura.

He joins from Old Mutual Wealth, the asset and wealth management company, where he was director of corporate communications. Previously he spent seven years at Barclays, leading communications during the integration of Lehman Brother's US franchise in 2008. Latterly, Hunter was appointed director of external communications for Barclays’ Personal, Corporate and Wealth division.
