Asset manager Schroders bolsters global comms team with Sarah Deutscher hire

Schroders, a global asset manager with some £294.8bn in Assets Under Management (AUM), has hired BNY Mellon's Sarah Deutscher as senior international PR manager.

Based in London, Deutscher will focus on managing international media relations and strategic implementation of global PR strategies. She will work alongside senior PR manager Estelle Bibby in Schroders' communications team, headed up by head of comms Beth Saint.

Alongside the eleven-strong comms team, she will promote the global brand and continue to support the business through an integrated comms approach targeting stakeholders.

Deutscher joins from American multinational bank BNY Mellon where she managed EMEA media relations and its investment boutiques. She has also held strategic positions at F&C Asset Management, media company Universal McCann and JP Morgan.

Earlier this year, Schroders' global comms team merged with its internal and corporate comms and social media functions to form a central global comms team.
