A campaigning organisation who represent the voice of over 60,000 individuals on issues from employment and the gig economy to taxation and regulation. This is an opportunity to join them at a time of exciting growth, with a focus on becoming the authority on these issues in the media with the support of high performing research and policy team.
As the Head of Press you will lead the strategy for media engagement and the wider external communications output as well as being the Editor for the organisation’s in-house magazine. You will have and build strong relationships with journalists and land high-impact, issues rich national media campaigns with the support of a three person team. You’ll demonstrate a good understanding of policy, create engaging news stories, and provide briefings to the senior team. In support of the external affairs activities you will engage with Government departments, Parliament, the unions and the wider industry.
